Did Bryan Singer Tease One Of The Horsemen In ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’?

Ever since Oscar Isaac’s casting as Apocalypse was announced, Bryan Singer’s fourth and final entry into the X-Men film franchise has fueled a very important question: Who will become the four horsemen in X-Men: Apocalypse? Four shadowy figures were briefly pictured in the post-credits scene for X-Men: Days of Future Past, and you can’t really have an Apocalypse storyline without Death, Famine, Pestilence, and War in tow.

Well, if Bryan Singer’s latest Instagram post is any indication, the mutant Caliban will be making an appearance in the film. The sewer-dwelling mutant possesses the ability to detect other mutants, as well as two addition stress-induced powers, superhuman strength and fear inducement. The typically timid mutant spent most of his time alone in the sewers, though he often found himself in the company of the Morlocks.

Oh, he’s also associated with Apocalypse in the comics:

Why? Because Apocalypse “recruited” Caliban into his murderous band of end-of-days disciples. First as Pestilence, and later as Death. So, does this mean that the otherwise lonely mutant will be helping Apocalypse with his homicidal plans in X-Men: Apocalypse? Sounds like it.
