Adam Scott’s raunchy married swinger comedy The Overnight opens Friday, which also stars Jason Schwartzman, Taylor Schilling, and Judith Godrèche. After having seen it at Sundance back in January, Uproxx’s Mike Ryan spoke with Scott and Schwartzman about the film, and more specifically, the prosthetic dongers the two actors have to wear in it.
Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Scott elaborated on the subject of the fake penises and why not just the nudity, but the prosthetics in particular were integral to the plot of the film. The fake penises were needed to demonstrate the, ahem, varying endowments of the two characters, and while Scott’s fake was not very impressive, Schwartzman could apparently stir coffee with his. I honestly don’t know if he was joking.
