Julia Stiles Rejoins Matt Damon On ‘Bourne 5,’ While An Interesting Name Is Rumored For A Villain Role

Universal Pictures is definitely moving forward with the fifth installment of the Bourne franchise. Paul Greengrass is returning to helm the film, and joining Matt Damon on the project —  so far — is Julia Stiles, who is in talks to reprise her role as Nicky Parsons.

The plot for the new film has not been released as of yet, and it seems there are no current plans to bring Jeremy Renner — who starred as Aaron Cross in The Bourne Legacy — into the mix for this new go-round.

However, according to The Wrap’s Jeff Sneider, Viggo Mortenson was just offered the bad guy role for the new film.
