So, Who Wants To Go To ‘Skull Island’ NOW?

At this point, is there anyone who hasn’t been attached to Kong: Skull Island? It wasn’t that long ago that both Michael Keaton and J.K. Simmons were set — and then no longer set — to be in the movie. Meanwhile, Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson are definitely, for sure, for realsies gonna be in it, so that’s good, we guess. But, you need more than that to explore the wonder and the horrors of Skull Island! Who else are they gonna get?

Well, four names being bounced around happen to be Russell Crowe, Samuel L. Jackson, John C. Reilly and Tom G. Wilkinson (his middle name is actually Geoffrey — did you know that? We just found out today). Jackson is apparently up for the role J.K. Simmons dropped, while Reilly is doing the same for Keaton’s part. As for Wilkinson, the Batman Begins actor is up for a role that has yet to be specified, but it’s probably not going to be Kong. We’re, like, 87 percent certain it’s not.

Whoever they decide on, they’d better do it quickly, because these movies take forever to make and this one’s slated for release on March 10, 2017.
