Jimmy Kimmel Got J.J. Abrams To Reveal The First Word Spoken In ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’

J.J. Abrams is keeping details about Star Wars: The Force Awakens pretty close to the vest; he will barely even provide context for the clip he brought to Jimmy Kimmel Live. But Kimmel was able to pull one tiny, little detail about the movie from Abrams’ padlocked grasp — the first word spoken in the film. Will it make any sense? Will it help you figure out the plot? Is it a spoiler?

I have bad news: It’s just the first word and it isn’t anyone’s name. So, good luck trying to glean anything from this new information. We suggest either 1) waiting for the movie to come out in 23 days or 2) taking your mind off things by watching the first sketch that popped into my head when I watched this clip, the “Novel Writing” sketch by Monty Python.
