It seems like Jimmy Kimmel Live is the new go-to place for movie trailers. After delivering the world premiere for the Captain America: Civil War trailer, Ben Affleck received the Bat Signal to stop by with the full trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. From what we saw in the preview from Monday’s Gotham, things were not looking good for Batman. Not only was he chained up in front of a very angry Superman, but that trench coat did not go with the Batsuit at all.
Now we get a bit more, with DC Comics mighty trinity standing large at the end of the trailer to take on what seems to be a reborn Zod/ Doomsday. That Lex Luthor is such a tricky little guy, isn’t he? It’s a surprise we all knew was coming at some point, but it’s still cool to see it come together on the screen.
It’s also cool how the trailer pits Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne at odds right at the start (though we don’t know if that is before or after they meet in their costumed forms).
