David Ortiz is living out his dream as a professional baseball player for the Boston Red Sox. Being a professional athlete is a dream job for a lot of young men. Additionally, Ortiz spends most of his time as a designated hitter, perhaps the cushiest position in all of the sport. But if Ortiz wasn’t living out his dream as a baseball player, what would he be? In a series with The Player’s Tribune called, “What the (Blank)?” Ortiz revealed his other dream job is being an adult film star.
The nickname Big Papi just took on an entirely different connotation. Let’s just be grateful that Ortiz made it as a baseball player.
He also went on to reveal that “I Like Big Butt” is his guilty song of choice, of course referring to Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back.” He is a man of principle. Not all dreams come true, but maybe that’s for the best.
