Ever since Ben Affleck revealed he was coming to screens, fans have been wondering just when Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke will show up. While he’ll appear in Ben Affleck’s solo Batman movie, Zack Snyder dropped a subtle hint that yes, the mercenary will be turning up in Justice League.

Snyder, who has a tendency to goof around on set, posted a photo to Twitter where he jacked Batman’s gauntlet:

Which is funny! But, nerds being nerds, they wanted to see what was on his tablet. Turns out that if you flip it and reverse it, you find that he’s working on a scene with Deathstroke with his mask off. It appears that Deathstroke is talking with somebody in the scene, probably somebody who either wants to pay him to do something, or somebody he’s collecting money from.

As for who he’s talking to, there’s not a lot of detail in the art, but they sure look bald, so take that as you will. Rumors have the main villain as Steppenwolf, the evil sidekick of galaxy threatening menace Darkseid, though, so he may only pop in to take a few potshots at Batman. We’ll find out just what Deathstroke is up to in November 2017.
