Evan Peters Says To Expect More Quicksilver In ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

When X-Men: Days of Future Past rolled into theaters last summer, no one expected Quicksilver to be the thing audiences would most take away from Bryan Singer’s return to the director’s chair. However, with only one memorable scene to speak of, the one thing fans want most out of the series’ follow-up, X-Men: Apocalypse, is more of the character… and it seems they’re going to get it, according to actor Evan Peters:

“I think so, yes. I assume it as well, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to say and not supposed to say,” the actor answered, adding, “I haven’t seen a script.” (via iamrogue)

While it’s going to be hard to top the Magneto break-out scene of X-Men: Days of Future Past, there’s reason to be hopeful. In the last film, the creative team wasn’t expecting Quicksilver to be as well-received as he was. This time, they know exactly what people want to see, and that should help guide things in a positive manner.
