Josh Trank’s ‘Fantastic Four’ Gets The Roger Corman Treatment In This Recut Trailer

Vulture has returned to save us from our Monday doldrums with another remix video. This time around, they are tackling Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot in brilliantly corny fashion. The above video features the audio from the film’s full length trailer superimposed over footage from the cheesy 1994 movie produced by none other than Roger Corman.

For those unfamiliar with the cult film — which never saw the light of day — the early ’90s production was riddled with issues, and rumors had it the movie only existed for the studio to maintain the rights. The details are explored in DOOMED! The Untold Story of Roger Corman’s The Fantastic Four and it definitely seems like an intriguing behind-the-scenes trainwreck of a tale, for sure. All that aside, the above video is an entertaining reminder of how far we’ve come from the ridiculousness of comic book movies’ past.
