What we’ve seen of Hitman: Agent 47 has been quite promising, and this trailer continues the theme. It completely gives away the plot, but at least it looks cool!
I’ll spare any spoilers because they’re all over the trailer itself, but suffice to say, anything you might have suspected about the movie from the first trailer turns out to be, in fact, true. And we get a few more angles on those action scenes, and this has gotten a substantial budget boost from the first attempt.
The question, of course, is how 47 will do in the dog days of August, but considering this trailer destroys a few million dollars’ worth of vehicles and implies that at one point 47 blows up his targets with an artillery cannon, it should catch some attention. We’ll find out Aug. 17.
