While folks are out celebrating New Year’s Eve, one lady will not be joining the public revelry. Jennifer Lawrence previously revealed how she uses fame as a convenient excuse to kick back and be a homebody. Why head out and endure the paparazzi crush when one can enjoy the privacy of a Hollywood Hills spread? Lawrence is also single for the holidays, and this status gives her stay-at-home agenda an instant boost.

To this end, Lawrence appeared on an episode of The Graham Norton Show that will air on New Year’s Eve. Alongside Eddie Redmayne, Lawrence admitted that she is not a fan of this evening’s high expectations:

“I really hate it. I’ve never had a good one – everyone’s chasing a good time and it’s always a disappointment. I plan on doing nothing, and then, if something lands in my lap … but I always end up drunk and disappointed … Drunk and Disappointed should be the title of my memoir!”

Lawrence backs up her assertions by admitting she’s already a puker, so why add public intoxication to the mix?

“When I get stressed and exhausted, I just vomit. I was driving with my publicist the other day and had to roll down the window, and I puked all down the side of the car.It was in front of all the paparazzi – I painted New York! And I threw up at Madonna’s party – on the porch!”

Lovely. Since Lawrence brought up the subject, Redmayne stepped up to the plate too. He admitted, “I puked at Madonna’s party, too!” Now we all know Madge has the best/worst liquor at parties, and Lawrence will be privately puking tonight. She’s got the whole “great expectations” point down though. New Year’s Eve is loaded with pressure to have the best time ever, which usually fizzles out like a watered-down drink. If you stay at home, you can mix the drinks as strong as you’d like. Win win.

A clip of Lawrence’s puking admission is not yet available, but here’s a rousing discussion of Lawrence’s “football faces.”

In this video, Lawrence doesn’t quite understand Redmayne’s dirty jokes. She must be trolling.
