MTV has been awaiting Star Wars Week (that’s this week, in case you couldn’t tell) for months. They asked a bunch of famous people to reenact scenes from The Trilogy, all in 86 seconds. Amusingly, posters for the films the actors, actresses, and directors were promoting at the time are in the background, so it’s Guillermo del Toro raving about Star Wars, with a Crimson Peak graphic behind him.
Same with Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World), Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, and Natalie Dormer (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2), Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller (Burnt), and Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy, who were probably glad to be talking about A New Hope, not Victor Frankenstein.
TIL: Paula Pell’s Chewbacca is on point.
