Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer is a go to play a blind musician with a slightly heightened taste for revenge in the upcoming thriller In Darkness. It’s a picture that Dormer’s not only set to star in, but also features a script she co-wrote with the director Anthony Byrne.

In the market for details? We can help you out. Deadline says the film will feature the following:

“The pic centers on a blind musician (Dormer) who gets pulled into London’s dark underbelly after she hears a murder committed in the apartment above her. As she becomes embroiled in this violent and murky world, it appears she is out of her depth — until we realize she has been following her own path of revenge for some time. Ed Skrein and Stacy Martin co-star.”

Production on the film is slated to start early next year with XYZ Films picking up the international sales rights.

Dormer’s been keeping fairly busy of late. In addition to co-writing In Darkness, she’ll be in upcoming cinematic offerings like The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, Patient Zero and The Forest. Plus there’s that whole Game of Thrones gig she has.
