Rian Johnson, the writer/director of Brick and the totally rad Looper, will be writing and directing Star Wars episodes VIII and IX. He clearly has some huge action set pieces in mind, if this series of revealing tweets is any indication. (Full disclosure: I would watch this scene and like it.)
It’s a good thing he included that sketch to explain what it looked like, or we might have had to be here all day drawing diagrams with straws.
