Robin Leach Takes Us On A Tour Of Professor Xavier’s Mansion In Another Totally ’80s ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Promo

We’ve been so bombarded with X-Men: Apocalypse promos for months that it seems almost bittersweet that the actual film is coming out this weekend, but lately the folks over at 20th Century Fox are trying to end their epic promotional efforts for Apocalypse by putting out some witty and totally ’80s throwback clips that make you want to pop the collar on your Lacoste polo and slap a copy of Duran Duran’s Rio into your Walkman. Last week, there was an “a” for Xavier’s School For Gifted Youngsters done in an homage to those education commercials that would air on daytime TV. Now, ’80s icon of all things fancy and classy, Robin Leach, has added his signature charm to the latest X-Men: Apocalypse promo.

In Fables of the Flush & Fabulous, a parody of Leach’s famous show, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, Leach takes us on a brief tour of Professor Xavier’s mansion, which he describes as “secluded, luxurious, and oh so mysterious.” Of course, Leach brags about the private jet and “world class amenities that would make the most privileged foreign dignitary green with envy.” Oh yeah, it’s also a school for gifted kids, don’t forget that.

The only thing missing from this totally radical throwback clip is Leach’s famous, “champagne wishes and caviar dreams” catchphrase.
