‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Releases New Posters And Character Details

The final trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story debuted just last Thursday morning, and now we’re getting a batch of new posters with character descriptions. We also have the fan-edited supercut above, which attempts to piece together all of the Rogue One footage we’ve seen so far into a somewhat chronological order (feel free to skip the first minute of introduction).

As for the posters, each one shows key members of the cast with the Death Star plans they’re trying to steal (or protect) reflected onto their face, along with a brief descriptive for their character. Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) has a “checkered past” and a “greater cause”. Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) is a Rebel intelligence officer. Chirrut Îmwe (Donnie Yen) is a “warrior monk with faith in the Force.” Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen) is a soldier. Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed) is a “former Imperial pilot who’s seen the light.” K-2SO (Alan Tudyk) is “reprogrammed to fight the Empire.” Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker) is “resolved to win the fight against the Empire.” And the snazzily-dressed Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) is “Cruel. Brilliant. Obsessed.”

Also, since we forgot to share this one back when it was released, here’s a previous Rogue One poster shared by Chewbacca himself, Peter Mayhew:
