The Marvel Cinematic Universe is freaking huge, and these movies are jam-packed with as many big-name actors and celebrities as they can manage to fit in. Why? Because the filmmakers want these movies to be as exciting and enticing as possible. They want to generate as much buzz as they can without generating the Batman v Superman-kind of buzz. And if the reviews and box office for Captain America: Civil War are any indication, Marvel won’t be abandoning these practices anytime soon. Hence the latest possible addition to the cast of an upcoming Marvel movie.
The latest celeb set to join the MCU? None other than Sharon Stone. Entertainment Weekly reports that Stone has been alluding to a role in an upcoming Marvel flick with some rather suggestive language as to what it might be. Of course, Stone isn’t a stranger to being suggestive, as an entire generation of men remember her for crossing and uncrossing her legs for Michael Douglas in Basic Instinct, a move that dropped jaws long before there was an internet to break.
Specifically, the suggestive word she has tossed about is “wee.” When asked about the role, she specifically used this word, which immediately set people’s gears in motion: “I’m just doing a wee part in a Marvel movie, upcoming, and I can’t tell, because you know, you have to sign confidentiality agreements. But I’m going to do a wee part in a Marvel movie now. That’s it.”
So who might Stone be playing? One Twitter user has a theory:
That’s right. Stone could be appearing in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp film, the follow-up to the surprisingly well-received Ant-Man.
