Steven Tyler is a lot of things: Aerosmith frontman, scarf enthusiast, impromptu meteorologist, former American Idol judge, and also… actor? Yes, actor, and he doesn’t always play himself on screen. Tyler spoke to People about his upcoming role in horror movie Happy Birthday (which released on VOD today), but the conversation veered into what his dream movie role would be.

“I hope [audiences] enjoy [Happy Birthday]. I know I did! It made me want to do more movies for sure, I would do anything to be in Guardians of the Galaxy 3 — are you listening James Gunn?”

Wait, are you listening, James Gunn? That could be awesome. It would fit right in (as much as a Steven Tyler can fit right in) with a universe that has Kurt Russell and Sylvester Stallone and fellow musician Jimmy Urine (of Mindless Self Indulgence) and Benecio del Toro and Benecio del Toro’s wig and Howard the Duck in the first movie and/or Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Steven Tyler could play so many characters in that universe; you wouldn’t even have to pay extra for wardrobe or makeup. He could just show up and play Groot’s dad. Or Groot’s mom. In fact, #StevenTylerForMammaGroot.
