‘Suicide Squad’ Set Videos Reveal New Details About An Intriguing Car Chase

Filming on Suicide Squad in Toronto, Canada, wrapped up last week. Now a couple more set videos from the end of shooting have emerged. These appear to be reshoots of a scene we’ve talked about before. Spoilers ahead.

Back in May, we saw a set video of the Batmobile pursuing The Joker and Harley Quinn in their Infiniti G35 tricked out with a Vaydor bodykit. The scene confirmed the rumors about Ben Affleck’s Batman appearing in Suicide Squad. Later that month, we saw the next part of the scene being filmed, as Affleck’s stunt double gave us a good look at the Batsuit while he perched atop Joker’s car, cutting a hole through the roof. (So, there’s a Bat-Angle Grinder on his utility belt? Next to the Bat-Shark Repellent, we assume.)

The first of the new set videos, filmed last Friday night, is a reshoot of that same scene:

The second video provides a new, very spoiler-ish detail about how this scene will end. The Joker crashes the car into a body of water, while Batman pulls out another gadget and swings to safety just before the crash.
