One thing you can say for certain about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of The Shadows, it is not hesitating to go deep into the old cartoon territory that made it a cultural phenomenon during the late 80s. The first film was hit by criticism about the Turtles look and how Shredder wasn’t actually Shredder, but this time seems to be aiming at a more fan friendly experience — if there is such a thing.
One of the main things added to the sequel, aside from Bebop and Rocksteady, is the appearance of Dimension X warlord Krang and his giant battle suit. Or is he a Utrom from outer space based on the comic series? Who really knows at this point, but we do know we’re going to see Krang in that boss mode and he’s getting some full looks thanks to this international trailer.
Alongside the final trailer that hit earlier in the week, this international spot gives us a look at the battle with Krang and the Turtles. Sadly the pink brain beast won’t feature the voice of Fred Armisen as originally reported. Instead, Everybody Loves Raymond’s Brad Garrett will step in to voice the bad guy and lead his plans for world domination.
