A ‘Toy Story’ Superfan Created An Amazing Real-Life Replica Of Andy’s Room

In another edition of The Internet Is Awesome, there exists a Tumblr that’s devoted to recreating scenes from Toy Story 3, the last film in the beloved Toy Story franchise. The latest entry involved a recreation of Andy’s bedroom from the third film, to incredibly detailed, impressive results.

The Pixarist writes that the recreation apparently took two years to complete. Details include Andy’s headboard with a moon carved into the top, the exact dartboard on his closet door (which the people who recreated his room found for $5 at a thrift store), and even the whiteboard above his desk with the exact same doodles.

It sounds like recreating Andy’s room was a team effort, with the writer’s brother specifically making the same posters that Andy had: “His posters were almost perfectly recreated for our room as well. I’ve got to thank my brother for those. The amount of detail he put into those things amazes me.”

There’s even a cute replica of the scene where Woody accidentally rolls the dog, Buster, over himself. This Woody looks way less perturbed about having been crushed by a dog just a few seconds before.

Below is a view of the room as a whole. It definitely looks like “the room that most of us grew up wishing we had,” as The Pixarist writes.
