We’re supposed to believe this version of Magic Mike was written by a child from Texas, but I have my doubts. Sure, it might just be Channing Tatum’s ultra sexual presence on the stage that is oozing into the words on the page. I just can’t help but think that a six-year-old kid would have the knowledge to create a screenplay that is full of that much sexual tension or that much depressing realism (no true magic for Magic Mike is a total bust).
I will watch a version of the film with Magic Mike as the king of aliens, but only if that means we get a crossover with Matthew McConaughey’s character in Interstellar.
