Here Are The Top 10 Music Videos On YouTube For 2015 (With Number One Going To…)

This year was a great and record-breaking one for music videos, but there were 10 in particular that people couldn’t get enough of, according to YouTube. The video streaming service concluded that the most popular music video of 2015 didn’t belong to Adele, Taylor Swift, or any of the other enormous names you’d probably expect. The top spot was nabbed by none other than Wiz Khalifa‘s “See You Again,” the hit single the rapper contributed to the Furious 7 soundtrack.

The rest of the videos span across pop and hip-hop, with only one of them cracking the list after appearing in the latter half of the year (yes, it was “Hello“). Others on the list include Maroon 5’s “Sugar,” Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood,” Silento’s “Watch Me,” and Sia’s “Elastic Heart.” Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Kevin Allocca, YouTube’s Head of Culture and Trends, said:

“When it comes to music, 2015 saw some of our fastest-rising videos of all time. Wiz Khalifa’s ‘See You Again’ reached over one billion views in just six months, and Adele reached the year’s top 10 in just a few weeks.”

If by some strange chance you still haven’t seen the video for “See You Again,” check it out below.
