Is your favorite band the Guitar Army (“Guitarmy”) from Idiocracy? But do you wish they had more drummers and singers, and exclusively covered one Foo Fighters song, kind of like Figrin D’an and The Modal Nodes playing the only song they know on repeat? Well, good news, because Rockin’ 1,000 brought together one thousand musicians to perform “Learn to Fly” in an attempt to convince Dave Grohl (and the rest of Foo Fighters, I GUESS) to come to Cesena, Italy.
Considering the number of people involved, it actually sounds pretty good! If I were Dave Grohl and I saw this, I’d hop on the first plane to Cesena, and pilot the damn thing myself.
