Monday night’s D.C. show was an unusual one for Taylor Swift. Not only did her stage break for several minutes, but she also surprised the crowd with a special performance by her best friend Lorde, who traveled all the way from her native homeland of South Park, Colorado to perform “Royals” with Tay.
You know what? The duet’s pretty good, and you can’t beat the infectiousness of Taylor Swift, even when Lorde’s energy isn’t as up there as high. Sorry, I’m going to go watch it again. Where’s my lighter? I want to wave it around!
