Motörhead’s Lemmy Has Been Forced To Switch From Whiskey To Vodka, For His Health

Lemmy Kilmister — better known as the eternally metal badass frontman of Motörhead — has been hit with a number of health issues in recent years. The 69-year old rocker walks with a stick because his legs are “f*cked,” recently suffered a bout of dehydration, and is living with diabetes.

According to a recent interview with The Guardian, Lemmy has made some changes to his diet to cope with the condition. How, you ask? Well, instead of drinking his usual Jack and cokes, Kilmister has switched over to vodka and orange juice. Lemmy addressed the change by saying, “I like orange juice better. So, Coca-Cola can f*ck off.” Even though diet whiskey is now a thing, it looks like he is sticking to the clear liquor thing now.

These setbacks aren’t going to stop the almost 70-year-old metal icon from making music. He put it best by saying, “Apparently I am still indestructible. As long as I can walk the few yards from the back to the front of the stage without a stick. Or even if I do have to use a stick.”

Does this mean that Ron Swanson would have to update his stance on clear liquor? This is a strong case for change.
