It’s a holy grail for “music died in 19xx” rockists of all generations, a previously unheard cover of The Beatles by Kurt Cobain. And it’s getting a physical release later this year.

With the release of Montage of Heck, insane amounts of never-before-heard Cobain material have made their way onto the internet. But Cobain’s cover of “And I Love Her” will see release as a 7″ backed with an early demo of “Sappy” around the time of Montage of Heck‘s DVD release.

For more unreleased tracks, check out this song from the Montage of Heck release and this demo from Kurt’s pre-Nirvana band Fecal Matter. To busy your eyes while you listen (because who does just one thing?), give a look at director Brett Morgen’s theory as to why Kurt committed suicide and read Krist Novoselic’s less-than-glowing idea of what a present-day Nirvana would sound like.
