Adele Just Made Your Monday Better By Announcing A Massive North American Tour For 2016

When Adele announced her European tour last month, there was a great deal of wailing and gnashing of teeth from her American fans. Fear not, impatient Yanks. The Real Queen of England hasn’t let you down. Adele took to her official website to announce a massive North American tour, with 56 dates from July until November 2016. The tour will kick off in St. Paul, Minnesota, of all places, on July 5 and conclude in Mexico City on Nov. 15. Over five months, she’ll hit most major city centers, including a six-night stay at Madison Square Garden. Whether the singer will trot out her famous friends each night remains to be seen.

This will be the “Hello” singer’s first tour since 2011, which was sadly cut short due to a vocal-cord hemorrhage. After she has smashed nearly every record put in front of her with her latest hit album, 25, there’s no doubt that this tour will be absolutely huge. Everyone start buying tissues and waterproof mascara in bulk in preparation. You might even want to schedule a therapy appointment for the morning after.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, Dec. 17th, at 10 a.m. EST, so you should probably plan your day accordingly.
