A Hardcore Punk Bassist Destroyed A $700 Drone With A Beer Bottle

At a recent show in Detroit, the bassist in the hardcore punk band Trash Talk threw a beer bottle at a drone that was hovering above the stage. He made contact. According to CoS, a company named Detroit Drone had been hired to record the group’s set during the Zumiez Best Foot Forward skateboarding event at the Michigan Theatre. Spencer Pollard was none too pleased.

After being hired to fly and videotape at this indoor skateboard event, I watched as a punk-rock bass player (Trash Talk/Spencer Pollard), knocked down my drone with a very limp-wristed toss (see slomo) of a beer can.

Destroying expensive, annoying technology? So punk.
