A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, And Kurt Vile Will Voice Animals In An HBO Animated Series

A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, and Kurt Vile will be among the guest stars on the first season of HBO’s Animals, a show that follows the secret lives of New York City critters. From the teaser it looks like every Pixar movie ever, but with all the cursing and radness that justifies an HBO subscription. Presumably, everything about this show gives Ted Cruz nervous sweats.

In addition to Mob members and the “Pretty Pimpin'” singer, the show will also feature Nick Kroll, Adam Scott, Marc Maron, Eric Andre, Wanda Sykes, Rob Corddry, and others voicing the city’s various pigeons, carriage horses, bedbugs, and dogs. Check out a teaser for the show, which debuts February 5, up top.

Animals was created by relative newcomers Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano and it’s executive produced by brothers Mark and Jay Duplass (Jeff, Who Lives At Home and current HBO series Togetherness).

For more Lord Flacko, check out Pusha T’s “M.P.A.” video from earlier this month and revisit that infamous SXSW orgy.

For more Ferg, revisit the information he initially dropped about Always Strive and Prosper and get hyped all over again. Then temper your expectations with this reminder that Ferg doesn’t have the strongest grasp on English.
