Watch Barack Obama Sing Justin Bieber’s ‘Sorry’ In This Mashup

There are two types of people in the world: people who admit that Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” is flames and liars. While there’s no telling where President Barack Obama actually stands on this pressing issue, we know the folks behind BaracksDubs are fans. They cleverly edited together clips of POTUS to make him sing the Purpose track.

The video comes at a fitting time, with Justin Bieber’s single sitting at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and Obama entering the homestretch of his eight-year stint as the leader of the free world. While we have no idea how Obama feels about having the words of a supposedly reformed Biebz put into his mouth, he has responded to other presidential dubs. After watching himself sing Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe,” he had this to say:

“I have to admit, I’ve never actually heard the original version of the song. I saw this version where they spliced up me from a whole bunch of different speeches that I made. They kind of mashed together an Obama version of it. It looks like a cute pop song.”

Can’t wait for these guys to put Obama over his current favorite artist, Kendrick Lamar. May we suggest “How Much A Dollar Cost?”
