Beenie Man won’t be headlining OVO Fest as planned. According to a post on the his Instagram, the dancehall star was barred from entering Canada after he tested positive for the Zika virus and dengue fever.

“Jah know…dah week ya deal wid me a way!! No visa fi mi Canada show (I apologize again to my fans in case you haven’t seen the press release),” he wrote. “Zika Virus hol’ mi The same Zika mosquito gi mi dengue. Blood test, injections, pills. Wi a hol firm still. Selassie a guide I n I right through so once mi have life me a give thanks.”

Fears surrounding Zika continue to grow as scientists learn more about the recently discovered virus, especially after confirmed cases appeared in the United States. The mosquito-borne illness has cast a shadow over the upcoming Summer Olympics in Rio, with many famous athletes expressing doubts over visiting the country while the outbreak is ongoing. Even journalists are concerned about covering the massive event, for fear of contracting the virus.

It’s also not the first time that the virus has interfered with a music festival. Lollapalooza Colombia was canceled earlier this year after Rihanna dropped out due to concerns about the virus.
