Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton visited future world president Beyonce on the set of a new music video being filmed in Los Angeles, according to Us Weekly.
An unnamed source said that Clinton “made a surprise visit” on March 24 to the video shoot; another source also added that Beyonce is finishing up an album, with videos, for a “likely” April release. Unfortunately, it’s unknown if Clinton will be a part of this video or not (though one can only hope).
The two definitely are supporters of each other: Beyonce showed she was on Clinton’s side in May of 2015, when the former attended a fundraising event for the latter in Manhattan.
Then in December of that same year, Clinton was asked by someone in Iowa if she would rather be president or Beyonce, to which she replied: “I want to be as good a president as Beyonce is a performer.”
Bey’s last music video was the popular, yet controversial “Formation,” so it’ll be interesting to see what she does next, especially if Hillary makes a guest appearance.
