Big Sean Has A Verse On The Upcoming Miley Cyrus-Flaming Lips Album

Looks like Big Sean is trying to get trippy with Miley Cyrus and Wayne Coyne. This week on Instagram, Coyne shared a verse from the “IDFWU” rapper, that seems to be from an upcoming Flaming Lips and Cyrus album.

In the studio clip, Big Sean’s verse contains the lines, “All I see is warm champagne / confetti on the floor of a mess that I’m still in / the same playlist on my phone…”

Judging by the caption included with the video, the verse is either on a song called “Tangerine,” or that’s the name of the actual album. The caption also includes a number of collaborators, including Ariel Pink and Coyne’s nephew, Dennis.

In an interview with Billboard back in May of this year, Coyne stated that the album (made up of seven songs) was almost complete, and being mixed by himself and Flaming Lips guitarist Steven Drozd.

“She does the pop thing so great, so it feels pop, but a slightly wiser, sadder, more true version,” Coyne said. “Some of it reminds me of Pink Floyd and Portishead.”

To quote Big Sean, “Whoa dere.”
