Blake Shelton Is Getting Lit Up Online Over Some Questionable Tweets From His Past

Blake Shelton, noted judge of The Voice and boyfriend of Gwen Stefani (and oh, also a pretty popular country singer), is learning the hard way that sometimes you just shouldn’t tweet. Even if it seems like a good idea at the time. The internet (because of course) dug up so old tweets of Blake’s that are at best very insensitive and at worst racist, homophobic, xenophobic, misogynistic, and rude. All in a day’s work for ol’ Blake, it seems. Some of Blake’s worst offenders are as follows:

It really shouldn’t need to be said that Dakota Fanning wasn’t even close to being of age when this one was sent:
And the worst of them all…
These tweets are so insulting that it’s honestly a surprise that they weren’t dug up before now. Blake has been publicly supporting Trump and many of the candidate’s policies recently, and tweeting some similar thoughts out for all to see so he might not care that these screenshots are on the internet forever. Maybe Gwen finally talked some sense into him and at least convinced him that racist tweets from half a decade ago don’t belong online anymore. Keep working on him Gwen, you’ll get there.
