Camila Cabello is moving swiftly and efficiently toward her debut album. On Monday, the singer announced that her first solo LP will be called The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving, and overnight, images of her upcoming single art started sprouting up on buildings all over the world. Today, she released the trailer for the first single, “Crying In The Club.”

In the trailer, Cabello sits in murky bathwater, seemingly in emotional distress as she whips wet hair around her face and squirms in front of the camera.

“This video summarizes the message of my journey over the past couple years, from darkness to light, from lost to found,” Cabello told Complex. “The director Emil Nava and I are put our hearts into this and we hope you like it!”

The clip features a dramatic cello slowly sawing out a few notes as a piano pounds the song’s chords. Cabello is in black and white, posing and navigating through clouds of fog. The film cuts to the date of the song’s released: May 19. That’s this Friday.

New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Spain and more have seen Cabello’s cartoonized crying face sprawled out on their cityscapes, promoting “Crying In The Club.” Check it out:

In a letter to fans earlier this week, Cabello described the story behind her upcoming album, saying that she was “broken” when she started writing the material. “’The hurting the healing the loving’ is the story of my journey from darkness into light, from a time when I was lost to a time when I found myself again,” she wrote. She also explained that the process began when she was in Fifth Harmony, before she left the group last December. “I was completely broken during that time, I was in the kind of pain that’s uncomfortable to talk about, and it was the kind of chapter you never want to read out loud.”

She also shared that “I Have Questions” will be the second song fans will hear off The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving. It was apparently written on a bathroom floor during a low point. Read the full post below:
