If the reports are true, then Desiigner may be in deep legal trouble.
According to TMZ, the “Panda” rhymer’s car was searched Thursday night by police following a traffic violation which was then revealed to be a road-rage incident. The site alleges Desiigner and the other driver got into an argument that escalated, and Desiigner allegedly pulled a gun and aimed it at the other motorist.
When cops arrived on the scene after the other driver called 911, they searched Desiigner’s — real name Sidney Royel Selby III — vehicle and were said to find loose pills, including Oxycontin and other drugs. Per TMZ:
Desiigner and 4 others in the SUV were arrested. All five were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell, which are felonies.
Desiigner was also charged with felony criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing (that’s for allegedly pointing a gun at the other driver).
While this is just in the arrest stage of the criminal justice process, meaning some of the charges may not stick or may change, it’s still some pretty serious trouble for the newly emerging talent.
