Beyonce’s Lemonade has been a monumental moment in pop culture. It’s impact has been so massive, that, naturally, various TV personalities have used it to generate some comedy of their own, and the fact Lemonade also came in “visual album” form has only helped provide fodder for comedy. Ellen DeGeneres has joined the fray, providing her own little spoof of Lemonade for her daytime talk show.

The premise of the video is fairly simple. You know the video for “Hold Up” from Beyonce’s album? The one where she walks around with a bat smashing cars? Well, imagine Ellen was in one of those cars, and talking on the phone about what she is seeing.

Ellen narrates what she’s seeing, informing the woman on the other side of her phone call that “Queen Bey has gone cray-cray.” Also, it turns out that the woman she is talking to is Becky. That would be the “Becky” from another Lemonade song, “Sorry,” a song that has led Beyonce’s fans to try and find this “Becky.” This isn’t Ellen’s only riff on the “Becky with the good hair” line. Wanda Sykes shows up at the end to proclaim herself “Wanda with the good weave,” and then hits the camera with a baseball bat.

Basically, it’s what you would expect from an Ellen bit about Lemonade. If you liked her Oscar hosting stint, then this is the Beyonce parody for you.
