A Few Rappers Brought Christmas Cheer To Kids This Weekend

It’s the most wonderful time of the year which means rappers are taking a break from spoiling strippers to bring Christmas cheer to children who figured out long ago that Santa wasn’t real. Speaking from experience, it’s kind of hard to believe when there’s no chimney at home. Maybe if the story/myth replaced chimney with door, I wouldn’t have lost my sense of imagination so early and became this god-awful cynic. But who needs Santa when these rappers are giving away toys and clothes? Yay!

Trick Daddy still “luh da kids” and proved it again by linking up with YCHS Kids Foundation and 103.5 The Beat for his 14th annual Christmas toy drive over the weekend. The two-day event gifted many area kids with bikes, board games, Barbies, bears and an array of assorted toys. And it wasn’t just Trick playing hood Santa in Florida, so was Rick Ross. Rozay held his eighth annual toy giveaway in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday.

In Atlanta, Future and Mike WiLL Made-It were doing the lord’s work on Sunday. Fewtch’s FreeWishes foundation and Mike’s Making Wishes Matter gave away food & drink vouchers, coats, bikes, iPads, skateboards and more to over 300 kids and families as part of their Winter Wishland event, while Lil Wayne went international and donated TrukFit gear to 500 children in Haiti for Karen Civil’s Live Civil Christmas Giveaway.
