Zaytoven has been a busy man. The producer extraordinaire rocked a DJ set at Coachella, another at the Hypebeast party a few miles away all before hitting the main stage at the festival to give Future an assist. He’s produced bangers for Migos and of course Gucci Mane recently and now, he’s quietly preparing a new album and is beginning the rollout with the LP’s first single.

“East Atlanta Day” is a trademark Zay banger with some harmonic keys to offset Gucci’s aggressive hook and verse. “Walking through my hood looking like 100 bricks” Gucci blurts out to open the track before adding “I got all this ice on me, shouldn’t have even brought out all this sh*t.”

By the time 21 Savage makes his appearance Guwop has already set the stage and made it as easy as possible for 21 to float on the track. His typical nonchalant flow makes for a nice switch up, as he hops on and reps East Atlanta alongside Gucci. The young upstart holds his own next to the living legend with quips like “F*cked your baby momma, your kid’s pamper needs some changing.”

Judging by the amount of rappers that have hopped on Zay beats in the last few years the album should be star-studded, and with the new single surfacing it should arrive just in time to wreck summer day parties everywhere.
