Guns N’ Roses Sold Over 1 Million Tickets In 24 Hours

[Axl Voice] “Do you know where you are? You’re in the jungle of renewed interest and popularity in the Guns N’ Roses touring brand, baby! Wake up! Time to die furiously comb StubHub for tickets.

2016’s sorta classic Guns N’ Roses lineup (we’ll take it) lived up to massive expectations even if the alcohol tolerance of their fanbase couldn’t, so naturally things are bleeding into 2017 and recent ticket sale totals suggest that the novelty of GnR back in action isn’t wearing off anytime soon. Quite the opposite, it seems. Billboard reports that over one million tickets were sold on Friday for dates in Canada and Europe. Those totals (provided by LiveNation) come ahead of ticket sales for the band’s new run of American dates and Billboard has the Not In This Lifetime tour at three million tickets sold in 2016 and counting. The band’s summer tour gross was a tidy $116.8 million too. So, uh, not bad.
