Not every collaborative album has to be Metallica and Lou Reed’s LuLu; some of them actually sound like honest-to-God music, not ambient dog farts played on tops of strangled cats…in German. Case in point: “Walk Us Uptown,” the slinky first single from Elvis Costello and the Roots’ split-album, Wise Up Ghost, due out September 17th.
