Earlier today a friend in the music industry emailed me with a link to the video above along with a note saying that she had a band’s music she wanted to introduce me to, one she described as “The Killers meet Phoenix.” As someone who really likes both The Killers and Phoenix, I checked out the video for “Silhouettes” by Nashville-based Colony House and previewed their new album and, well, I really f*cking like Colony House now. Their debut album, When I Was Younger, will be out July 22nd, but you pre-order it on iTunes and Amazon now. And yes, the band is currently touring and making their way through California this week.
