Did Madonna just nab the most eligible British bachelor? The dating rumors started, as they usually do, after Madonna posted about Idris Elba on social media. She sent out the above Instagram video of Elba fighting in his first ever kickboxing match, and admittedly it seems pretty odd that she’d be at his boxing match if they weren’t, well, at least close.
Given that Idris Elba is the most attractive Englishman currently walking the planet, and given that Madonna likes Britishness so much that she tried to convince us she was a Brit for a few years, perhaps it was only a matter of time before the two seemed like a feasible couple.
Elba has been training to be a kickboxer for an upcoming Discovery Channel documentary series called Idris Elba: Fighter. Madge was ringside for his first fight and brought him to a party afterward. That was enough to set the rumor mill spinning. Those always reliable unnamed sources started talking to The Sun and suddenly Elba and Madonna were a couple.
“They arrived together at around 3 AM and were all over each other,” an anonymous source said. “There was nothing subtle about it, no attempt to hide. It was very blatant.”
Elba, however, shut down any rumors before they could sprout legs with a remarkably direct tweet and a little help from Public Enemy.
“Am I sleeping with Madonna? No. motherf*ckers,” he wrote.”Don’t believe the hype.”

Judging by Elba’s tweet, it looks like the actor doesn’t go for subtle in any part of his life.
