It’s easy to imagine. It’s the late 00s, you are an adored, never-aging TV star, and the King of Pop himself Michael Jackson decides to call your house and invite you to Disneyland. It’s the happiest place on Earth. Who couldn’t be happy there? And you’re going with one of the biggest stars of all-time. Who could say no to that?
Apparently, John Stamos could say no to that. Have mercy.
While appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, the Grandfathered star explained that he was involved in a bidding war over Disneyland sets and memorabilia, and after winning a notable large D over MJ, the legendary entertainer called him to congratulate him and invite him out to the famous park.
John Stamos, at the time, responded with a j/o hand signal and decided not to go, but now he sorely regrets it.
At the time, I’m like, “Come on.” But now, I’m like, “Oh my god, could you imagine the TBT picture I could of that?!”
Of course, Stamos can’t help but regret a great looking photo of himself. In his defense, MJ didn’t leave a number, but it probably would have been easy enough to get in contact with him. Going to Disneyland with Michael Jackson has to be one of the most surreal opportunities someone could ever have. It has to be one of the biggest regrets of his life. Well, that and not dating Aunt Becky in real life, because he for real had a chance at that!
