Jon Hamm Explained Why He Was Throwing Gummy Bears At Bonnaroo

Jon Hamm had a busy night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. After talking about the Mad Men ending (“I was very happy with how it ended.”) and having Don Draper’s clothing in the Smithsonian (“It was very cool.”), Hamm also explained how he and Zach Galifianakis ended up tossing gummy bears around at Bonnaroo.

Zach and I were really bored on set. We were sitting around, and I had a bag of gummy bears on set […] I threw one at him, and he caught it in his mouth; like a dog who really likes gummy bears. Then I started whistling the plate spinning song, and then we would do it for the crew, and then we did it on stage at Bonnaroo.

The lead singer of Belle and Sebastian saw me doing it to Zach, and want me to do it to him.

The whole thing got Kimmel so excited that he wanted to give the whole catching gummy bears in his mouth thing a go. After a miss or two, it became apparent that this sort of thing should be left to the professionals.
