Kanye West Was So Moved By A Woman’s Donda Shirt He Serenaded Her By Name

There is now a new reason to want to go see Kanye West on his Saint Pablo Tour. If everything breaks right for you, you could find yourself being personally serenaded by name.

West’s shows are spectacles enough as is, but his Miami show was taken to another level, particularly for one woman in the crowd. From the stage, West noticed a woman with a tattoo inspired by Ye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album and also a shirt dedicated to the memory of Kanye’s late mother Donda. After seeing her, Kanye said, “The girl with the ‘In loving memory of’ and the ‘Runaway’ tattoo… You literally brought tears to my eyes.” Sure, he said this through his auto-tuned microphone, but the impact was not lessened.

He then asked her for her name, and when he found out it was Krystal, he proceeded to repeat her name over and over as his floating stage ascended. It is a rare opportunity to have one of the biggest artists in the world saying your name while they are on an ascending stage. Needless to say, Krystal was very overwhelmed by the moment, and also of course tweeted about it later.
