When an artist has time to give prepared and polished answers to an interviewer’s questions, there’s a great potential to be boring and vanilla. Thankfully, the folks at Vevo have started a new series called 60 Seconds With, where musicians have to think on their feet and give answers they may not offer up so easily.

This edition of the show features birthday boy and TDE rhymer Kendrick Lamar, who had to make some tough choices while on the spot. When asked “Dr. Dre or Eminem,” he hesitated and decided to go with Dre. But Marshall is typically so level-headed, we’re sure he’ll be fine with that. He also said that the 2pac song he’d like to rhyme on the most is “Ambitionz Az A Ridah” (great choice, by the way), “Wesley’s Theory” is his favorite track to perform live right now, and much more.

They actually managed to get a lot of questions in under a minute. This is clearly how interviews should go from now on.
