Kimbra Faces Off Against Her Clone In Her New Video For ‘Human’

New Zealand singer-songwriter Kimbra released a new video for “Human,” the latest track off her upcoming studio album Primal Heart. In it, the sultry pop earworm gets the Black Mirror treatment as the singer comes face to face with her clone in a parking garage. Shot in black and white and directed by Gregor Nicholas, Kimbra sees the clone as a metaphor for her journey toward tranquility. “I think of the clone in this video as a part of me,” she states in a press release. “Manifesting in order for me to make some kind of peace and seek connection through a shared experience.”

The Grammy award-winning singer is set to kick off a quick, three-week tour in support of her third studio album — which has been pushed to release later this year — on January 28 in Boston. The tour will take her across the U.S. and Canada, wrapping up in Santa Ana on February 15. Kimbra will also take her act to late night television as the musical guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where she’ll perform her Skrillex-produced Primal Heart cut, “Top of the World.”
